Everyone did a great job with their poetry, but Ms. Tasiilaq’s “One with Nature” really captures the feeling of being free when unclothed.
This year 11 people made time to sit with their naked hearts, scribble their thoughts, and share them with all of us for the 2015 Clothes Free Poetry Contest. Each submission breathed its own beauty, each piece made marks on others. Readers took in the poetry and showed their support of these amazing writers.

One with Nature
The world is full of dirt and air–
That’s the reason I like to bare.
One with sky, one with earth,
As fresh today as day of my birth
Run through the woods so free
The world goes away, lets me be.
Sunlight on my body, grass in my toes
I’m one with birds, trees, and rainbows!
